Baltic Sea Coast Cycle Route

Bathing stop? Absolutely! A stroll through Glücksburg and the delightful town of Kappeln with its museum harbor are also a great way to extend the five-hour tour.

© www.ostsee-schleswig-holstein.de/Oliver FrankeThe stage between the castle town of Plön and the maritime Baltic Sea port of Neustadt in Holstein leads through the fascinating lake landscape of Holstein Switzerland. Charming stops along the old pilgrims’ route include Bad Malente and Eutin, in the middle of it all and wonderfully idyllic.
Eider-Treene-Sorge cycle path
© Dithmarschen Tourismus/photocompanyThe section from Erfde via Pahlen to Lunden almost always runs alongside the water. A choice detour at the weekends would be to cross the Eider on the historic Bargen ferry, return to the cycle path in Delve and continue through dream landscapes of forest, meadows and moorland directly to Lunden.
Old salt road
